Born in St. Thomas, Ontario, Terry Van Horne has spent the better part of fifteen years solidifying his place among the most skilled minds and the foremost experts in the field of Search Engine Optimization.

After recognizing computer networking and Ecommerce as pillars of the internet age, Terry and his brother Bill joined forces to start up a local Bulletin Board System (BBS) in 1993. They used this early form of internet communication to survey users on their specific wants and needs, absorbing the feedback and formulating proactive solutions.

Five years later, Terry began working in program development and project management. He used his ever-expanding knowledge of JavaScript, Java, VB, PerlScript and C computer programming, to enhance structure and standards throughout the internet marketing world, making many online advertising campaigns a success.

Combining this programming knowledge with his search engine optimization skills, Terry was once again on the forefront of the industry, founding SeoPros.org in 2000. This not for profit consumer advocacy group works to promote best practices standards and provide consumer information. The group is made up of the top search engines, SEO consultants, internet marketers and developers.

In 2003, Terry began applying his direct marketing skills to the management and development of PPC campaigns on all the major Ad platforms. Terry has experienced a great deal of success in marketing consumer products and financial services on Google, Yahoo! and Ask.com. More recently Terry has been researching and developing strategies for local and mobile search. His belief is these new search products will provide most of the growth going forward.
