Interview Transcript

Hi, I'm Roxanne, I'm with Flooring Market. Robert my partner kind of run the ecommerce site and I do the brickamorder store but we decided that we needed a new website. The business had gotten so big and we felt it was time to move on to that next level. Robert and I went out on the search to find our web designers and it was quite the experience because so many of them told us we couldn't do what we wanted and it was totally impossible and Robert and I knew it wasn't impossible. So we just kept searching and finally one day Robert called me and he was all excited and he said, "Roxx, I think I found 'em." So that's when we found desme and they came and talked to Robert right way. He explained what we wanted them to do. Couple days later they brought out a proposal and Robert faxed it out to me right way and we were really truly excited. We were in there office within a week. We were really impressed by their professionalism and their knowledge and we're just so excited that they were able to help us do what we wanted to have done.

The day that we got to look at the first glimpse of the new site we were so excited, but you know you're like is this color right is that color right. We'd called desme and say can you just change this color or just do that. Sometimes it was really minute, they probably thought we were crazy but they did it. They were more than happy to try different things with us. So, it was such a pleasure going through this because you weren't afraid to call and say, could you make this little change because they would do that for us. Desme was always there with a solution. If Robert and I couldn't think of a way to handle it then we would brainstorm with them and somebody there would come up with an idea. It's been a great experience and as far as out expectations, I don't think Robert and I thought it would be this great. Robert and I are sure that we do have the best website in the industry. We've had several different reps look at it and they're just as excited as we are. They said they haven't seen anything quite like that either.

So, we're looking forward to getting off the ground and really running and having a long long relationship with desme because we know that while we were going through setting it up problems would come up. Reality is never as simple as you think it's going to be so we would run into different snags. One of our companies decided they wanted to change a whole policy, one of our suppliers. So we had to go in and re-due a whole segment of things and come up with a new concept and desme helped us to do that and it made us more flexible in the future because nothing ever stays the same. We feel really confident that our website will accommodate us for many years to come.
