Hi, I'm Enam Noor the C.E.O. of desme. We started part time back in the late nineties while I was working for a refinery as IT director. In 2001 we officially incorporated our company in Chicago. Two years into our business we decided we need to offer a more cost effective solution in a timelier manor to our customers and the best way to do that is having a global presence and utilize the resources that are available throughout the world. We opened up an office at that time in India. We added a couple more locations, one in Canada, one in Bangladesh. Right now we have sixty plus employees throughout the world, in four offices. Chicago being the headquarter most of our client base, 90% plus in North America. That being said we do have client in Europe, Asia and Australia.
We create websites. That brings in business for our client and that is the goal. So the clients are investing into their website there is always a return. Our idea is if the website is not returning the investment its not doing it job. We don't call it the cost; we look at it as an investment for our clients. Any investment should have some kind of return and the goal is make it a positive return and that's why we call it Business Excellence. Optimized. We provide business process services to our clients. That could be online development. That could be online marketing campaign or creative concept design. Whatever the needs are we sit down with our client and isolate whatever the needs are to help them to optimize the process. That could be selling online. It could be creating a backend to their current website where they could do either inventory management, payroll services, contact management. We also provide BPO services to our clients (Business Process Outsourcing). As we have a global presence we try to bring out our resources available to our client. So it's not just available to us but our clients can tab into our resources and maximize their output.
Listen, listen, listen. We listen to our clients. What are the needs we listen to our production team what are the goals and risk analysis we need to put together. We listen to our testing team when they are doing different used case study. What the areas that they need to cover. We want to produce a very fluid process that eventually brings in success for our clients. desme is a ISO 9001-2000 certified company. All of our development centers, every one of them is certified for quality management. Currently we're going through the highest level certification in CMMI. What that mean is that it's a quality management process. We have to make sure the standards are set. desme is an international company we have offices throughout the world. We have clients throughout the world. How do you create a very consistent standard? So if Chicago says yes, India understands that, Bangladesh understands that, Canada understands that, European clients understand that. That is the goal that this is what our certification allows us to do. We do a lot of documentation. Documentation allows us to put together the break down of the process flow for our clients. What the projects needs the client can look at it, understand and if there is any issue they can explain that to us before the project is done. The same documentation goes to our chief architecture, it will go to the programmer, it will go to the testing team. Testing team will look at it, what was the requirement. So based on the requirement they will put together a used case study for testing scripts and that is how we finish the project. And again it all comes down; you have to listen to your clients. If you don't listen to your clients you can not produce a successful campaign for the clients.
Whom ever works at desme we don't call them employees they are talents. They are the talents that desme can showcase. A talent could be a graphic designer. A talent could be a programmer. A talent could be a tester, it could be an account manager, and it could be a sales person. It does not matter, they are all talents and that is why desme is so successful because we are surrounded by great talents.
